KEY FEATURES
Vessel hauled at Goodison shipyard in 2023. The vessel received routine bottom maintenance.
Vessel short-hauled June 22, 2022 for bottom inspection and Ultra sonic testing of the underwater structure. This survey was conducted by Marine Safety Consultants who found the bottom in very good condition, heavier thickness plating than would be expected of a vessel of this class and age.
New Manitowoc 1700 JBT hydraulic crane installed on the center line of the work deck. crane used for buoy launching and recovery and not used during fishing. The vessel has a revised stability letter issued by Farrell and Norton Naval Architects dated 23 JUN 2025
Caterpillar model D353 six (6) cylinder turbo charged, marine diesel engine, installed forward in the starboard side main deck house. This engine is the prime mover for a pump drive and four (4) deck service hydraulic pumps.
John Deere six (6) cylinder auxiliary diesel engine installed aft on the starboard side of the engine room. This engine is the prime mover for a Magna Plus 150 KW AC generator. rebuilt in November 2013.
John Deere six-(6) cylinder auxiliary diesel engine installed aft on the port side of the engine compartment. This engine is the prime mover for a Magnus 200 KW AC generator.
There is a Detroit Diesel model 3-71 auxiliary diesel engine, 12,770 on gauge, installed aft in the lazarette. This engine is the prime mover for a Baylor 45 KW AC generator.
Vilter refrigeration compressor is installed forward on the port side of the engine compartment with Lincoln 230/440 AC drive motor. The compressor is installed for the vessel’s ammonia refrigeration system with ammonia storage and chiller tanks located aft on either side of the engine compartment. Two (2) Kirst tank circulation pumps are installed forward on the engine room bulkhead
The refrigeration system is currently not in use.
There is a Pullmaster model H25 main winches mounted aft on the raised foredeck. There is a newly installed Pullmaster model H30 winch on the starboard side.
The vessel is fitted with four (4) RSW tanks which are located aft of the forepeak and forward of the engine compartment. The forward port and starboard tanks have been converted by way of installation of stanchions and pen boards into iced scallop pens. The after two tanks are currently utilized for gear storage.
